It's a glorious thing to see a train dwarfed by the mamouth rocky cut formed by the Arkansas River known as the Royal Gorge. Jagged rocks tower over the day;s Royal Gorge Route excursion as it works its way back to the depot in Cañon City. Before it does it will pass under the Royal Gorge suspension bridge peeking up in the background.
